"Rhapsody on my mind" As a piano major in college, I always considered Johannes Brahms as one of the "rock stars" of music
in the 1800's. His Rhapsody in G minor is one of my favorite piano works
and is the inspiration for this piece.
FUN FACT: This has a push button recorder on the back with a short audio of this wonderful music.
This fiber art piece is installed on a 12" by 14" gallery wrapped canvas.
Materials: Batik Fabric, Polyester thread, Holographic thread, Tsukineko ink, Hand dyed ribbons,
silk sari remnants. Machine appliqued and quilted. $425

"View From the Road" My husband and I travel by RV which is like having
an IMAX theatre panoramic view of the landscape. This work is my vision of the thousands
of farms and ranches we pass as we cross the country, so much land with little houses in the distance which always fascinates me. This work
is 7" X 14" on an 8" X 16" gallery wrapped canvas.
Materials: Fabric acrylic, Tsukeniko ink, cotton fabrics, machine quilted and thread painted.$325
