It seems that everywhere I look these days I see shapes and scenes that I want to recreate
using the textile art form of the quilt. My favorite part of this process is in the designing phase
when anything is possible.
Then comes the reality of the technique, where the true challenge lies.
I am a sponge for technique and have taken classes and studied with many international quilt artists and teachers
for years, in fact I don't think I will ever stop studying this craft. Every new thing I
learn just makes me enjoy my work more.
I have been blessed with a good amount of awards and acceptance into juried contests, as well
as being published in national quilt magazines. Its always an honor to have people see
my work.
As
a result of this wonderful obsession my quilts
reside in private collections all over the world.
